Car Wash Conveyor Belts Built for High-Volume Tunnels
An AVW car wash conveyor belt carries the vehicle through the car wash tunnel on a moving surface, so braking or turning the wheel does not throw it off track. Since our first belt conveyor in 1999, we have installed more than 850 car wash conveyor systems worldwide. One of them processed 1.2 million cars before its original belt was replaced.
Choose the conveyor belt car wash layout that fits your site: a single belt that fits a traditional conveyor pit, a dual 30″ or 42″ belt that carries all four tires, or a 12′ (144″) express detail belt for interior cleaning and hand finishing. For washes that keep a chain system, AVW also builds three-track roller conveyors and the stainless steel Roller Correlator, which aligns the tire to the conveyor. Every car wash conveyor system is built on a heavy-duty steel frame with stainless glide plates, and the pusher pattern is tailored to your volume and vehicle mix.

Interior Cleaning Conveyor for Express Detail Lines
Our 12′ (144″) express detail belt is made for the work that happens after the tunnel. It’s wider than the car, so all four doors and the trunk can stay open while staff vacuum, wipe and detail. Both the vehicle and the team stay on the moving belt the whole time. That turns hand washing and interior cleaning into a steady, efficient line instead of a bottleneck.

Dual 30″ and 42″ conveyors are designed for more control of the vehicle when the driver is inside but less restriction on the type of vehicle being washed. When the driver activates the brakes or turns the steering wheel, nothing happens. Carrying all four tires affords more control and enhances the customer experience!

The 12′ (144″) conveyor is designed for manually working on the interior and exterior of a vehicle (hand washing and detailing). The belt stretches the full width of a car, and then some. This allows for all doors and the trunk to be left open for vacuuming and cleaning while the car and employees remain on the belt.

The AVW Roller Correlator is constructed of high-grade stainless steel and durable UHMW. It’s simple design fits most existing frames. No screws, bolts, springs, pins, or grease fittings. Rollers lift out for easy replacement and cleaning. Can also be customized to fit odd sizes.
